Join the WSHS Booster Club Board

The WS Booster Club has been fortunate to have a strong and dedicated leadership board for the last several years. But as we all know, kids graduate — and unfortunately, we can’t keep their parents on the board forever!

That means we have several important roles opening up this year, and we’re hoping you’ll consider stepping in. Most board positions involve attending a monthly board meeting plus bout 2-3 hours of work outside the meeting. The more support we have, the more we can do for our student-athletes.

If your student is still early in their high school journey, now is the perfect time to get involved. You’ll build connections, learn the ropes, and help strengthen the WSHS athletic community for years to come.

Open Positions

Treasurer: Our current treasurer will be transitioning into our Controller position, which opens up the Treasurer role. This position works closely with the Controller, so there’s plenty of support along the way and a great chance to get familiar with the numbers behind the scenes.

Concessions: This role includes managing inventory, organizing volunteer teams, and reconciling income and expenses. The systems are already in place, and training videos have been created. The Concessions Chair simply helps keep things running smoothly, supports our volunteers, and makes sure we’re stocked and ready for game day.

Social Media & Marketing: Do you enjoy scrolling social media, staying up to date on school happenings, or maybe even have a marketing background? This could be the perfect role for you! This position keeps our community informed and engaged by helping run our social media accounts.

Membership: As our Booster Club continues to grow, this role is essential in helping welcome new members, answer questions, and keep people involved. It’s a great way to build connections and strengthen our Booster community.

Team Manager…Manager: The Team Manager Playbook is already developed and is a great resource for parents stepping up to support a team. That said, being a Team Manager is a huge role that comes with a lot of questions. This role is for someone who can help with fundraising platforms, serve as a resource for team managers, and help make sure our volunteer leaders feel supported and successful.
